Hedge of Protection Security Services provides security services that are tailored to meet our clients’ needs. We hire trained armed and unarmed security enforcement officers and armed Off Duty Officers (ODO’s). 

Suffice it to say, we pride ourselves on having a stellar reputation—period. Our company is committed to assessing individual client needs and providing highly trained and experienced security enforcement officers, active or retired law enforcement officers, and patrol services for private security, corporate events, special events, mobile patrol, and armed or unarmed escort detail. Providing security services is what we do, it’s what we live for, it’s our passion, it’s what we love to do, and we are good at it. As Owner, Chief Executive Officer and as Chief Operating Officer, we have been diligently brain-storming— collectively and collaboratively to create strategic ideas, connecting the dots, strategically bringing this company to life, and to set ourselves apart from the rest. Our ultimate goal is to change the trajectory of how security services have been implemented in the past, which is why we utilize the latest security technology to provide our clients with the best security options available.

The Chief Operating Officer—
Private Patrol Operator

The Chief Operating Officer of Hedge of Protection Security Services was born with an entrepreneurial mindset and a business acumen. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management (magna cum laude equivalent GPA), and she also completed extensive courses in Human Resources Management, Principles of Marketing and Public Relations during her Degree program. She has a background and experience in Human Resources, and served 17 years as a Management Confidential Executive Assistant to Cabinet-Level officials. She is a meticulous recruiter who hires trained and experienced security enforcement officers, verifies their credentials, completes extensive background checks, and assures that the security enforcement officers are nothing less than the best—and who are a great fit for the company.

The Chief Operating Officer is a 2022 Graduate of the ICCC program, where she earned her MBA! The courses and its content included Marketing, Accounting, Talent Management and Leadership, Business Stategy, Entrepreneurship and Finance. 

In order to keep up with the uniformed staff, and hold them to a higher standard, the savvy COO has quite successfully and satisfactorily completed courses and training "and" received her certification of training in “California Powers to Arrest”, “California Weapons of Mass Destruction”, and "California Public Relations." She also attended "Security University" and received training accreditation in accordance with the California Association of Licensed Security Agencies, Guards and Associates (CalSAGA). 

The COO faired incredibly well in all three security training modules, and in doing so, she has been granted security enforcement officer training credits in accordance with the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services (BSIS). “Attagirl.”

In addition to running a percentage of the day-to-day operations of the company, the COO is a licensed Instructor who administers the "Powers to Arrest" training course in accordance with the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services (BSIS), and she currently serves as "CalSAGA Ambassador" for the California Association of Licensed Security Agencies, Guards and Associates' (CalSAGA) Ambassador Committee. 


The Chief Executive Officer, Owner & —
Private Patrol Operator 

The Chief Executive Officer, Owner (Founder) of Hedge of Protection Security Services is a retired law enforcement captain with 30+ years' law enforcement experience; served in the U.S. Armed Forces; majored in Criminal Justice; worked as an armed security enforcement officer "On-The-Red-Carpet” for the 90th, 91st, 92nd, 93rd, 94th and  95th Academy Awards event; assigned to work as a “private off-duty officer” (ODO) for high profile clients, movie premiers, dignitaries; and served as a law enforcement officer (LEO) for the Los Angeles Dodgers Organization for five consecutive years|seasons. 

The unique understanding and appreciation for the types of services offered at HPSS stems from the Chief Executive Officer, Owner (Founder) values and combined law enforcement credentials and experience, which is necessary to provide an unparalleled level of performance and expertise. Not only does the Owner/President have an extensive background in law enforcement, he has had a culmination of training in Criminal Justice, Crime Scene Investigations, Interview/Interrogations Techniques, Firearms Training (Less-Lethal Weapons), De-escalation Techniques, and he has completed "Active Shooter” training. The Owner has cross-trained and conducted sensitive operations in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies. 

In addition to running the day-to-day operations of the company, the Owner, President | plays a significant and integral role in the building of Hedge of Protection Security Services by providing hands-on private security experience, knowledge, expertise, training, law enforcement credentials, enthusiasm and energy! The Ower/President has recently, quite successfully and satisfactorily completed additional and advanced “Active Shooter" training. In doing so, he has been granted "Active Shooter" training credits. He is also a licensed instructor who administers the "Powers to Arrest" training course,  in accordance with the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services (BSIS). In addition, he attended "Security University" and received a training accreditation in accordance with the California Association of Licensed Security Agencies, Guards and Associates (CalSAGA). 

In addition to his vast experience, the Chief Executive Officer, Owner (Founder) serves as a member of the Security Assessment Team (NFL, college football and soccer stadiums). As a member of the SAT, the objective of the team is to (1) Evaluate how security employees conduct screening of patrons pursuant to policies and procedures set forth by stadium officials (2) Observe security employees' screening of patrons' credentials to verify their access to restricted areas, and (3) Access the areas that could present a potential threat to the stadium. At the conclusion of the operation, the Security Assessment Team provides a briefing of any discrepancies and submits its recommendation to the stadium officials for review.

It has always been our life goal to own our own business. I, the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Owner, have a bachelor’s degree in business management and a mini Master's Degree. I, the Chief Executive Officer & Owner have 30+ years law enforcement experience, coupled with a culmination of training in criminal justice . In the back of our mind, we kept contemplating starting our own private security business.

Our shared passion has evolved into a company where business management and structural operations come together in beautiful harmony. Frankly, we are here to cut through the noise, change the trajectory of how security services have been implemented in the past, and solve your security concerns.
